Michael Story is a National Certified Counselor, a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, a Certified Mental Health Counselor, and a Distance Certified Counselor. He began his counseling experience as a Career Counselor, Casualty Assistance Calls office in 1979 with the Navy, Red Cross, and the Navy and Marine Corp Relief Society. In 1990, he served as an instructor for deputies and civilians with the Orange County Sheriff's Office as was a certified Victim Services Practitioner. Mike completed his internship at Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children and Families in the Sexual Trauma Recovery Center, and became a Critical Incident Stress Management and Debriefing Team Mental Health Counselor for the Sheriff's Office. He was also the program director for 36 boys in residential foster care at Project Phoenix. He received his Master of Arts in Mental Health Counseling in 1997 from the University of Central Florida.
